Onboarding Orientation Meeting
To enhance new employees’ sense of identity and belonging at Newcell, improve their professional skills and qualities, and build a high-performing team with excellent competence and the ability to tackle tough challenges, the Company’s Human Resources and Administration Department organized the 2023 Onboarding Training for College Graduates on July 3, 2023. The training lasted for two weeks and involved a total of 17 instructors.
This training session has received high attention from the company’s leadership, with President Stephen and Vice President Bravy attending the entire program. On the first day of onboarding training, President Stephen began by welcoming the new employees on behalf of the company, emphasizing that Newcell, as a big family, needs fresh energy and vitality from its new members. He then outlined the “four core qualities” that employees should possess in their work: first, the ability to make commitments and the courage to do so; second, the importance of providing timely feedback and communication; third, punctuality; and fourth, the skill of asking questions and knowing when to seek help. Finally, drawing on his own personal growth journey, Stephen explained the true meaning of “striving” and expressed his earnest expectations for the newly hired employees, hoping they would create greater personal value at Newcell.
Bravy, the company’s Vice President, also delivered a welcoming address at the 2023 Onboarding Orientation for New College Graduates, expressing his hope that each new hire will find their own unique leverage point at Changtian and go on to write a remarkable chapter in their lives.
On-the-Job Training in Progress
This training session was chaired by Zeng Hong, Manager of the Company’s Human Resources and Administration Department. The aim of the training is to enhance new employees’ understanding of the company through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on learning on the production line. By systematically studying fundamental theories such as the company’s process flows, product technologies, engineering methodologies, logistics management, and operations management, the training seeks to strengthen employees’ basic knowledge and enable them to quickly adapt to their roles, thereby achieving mutual growth and win-win outcomes for both individuals and the company. The training program included an introduction to the corporate culture, an overview of the employee handbook, and specialized presentations from various departments. Lecturers from multiple departments—including Human Resources and Administration, Safety, R&D, Production, Product Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Marketing—delivered insightful presentations. Thanks to the lecturers’ patient and meticulous explanations, the newly hired employees gained a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of Newcell’s corporate development journey and systematically learned about the company’s rules and regulations as well as the relevant knowledge pertaining to each department.

During this training program, many newly hired employees actively spoke up and asked questions. The company also established honors such as “Best Thinker” and “Outstanding Trainee,” as well as special onboarding incentive funds and other cash rewards for them. At the graduation ceremony, Vice President Bravy presented certificates of honor such as “Best Thinker” and “Outstanding Trainee” to the top-performing trainees. These outstanding trainees also shared their thoughts, feelings, and insights gained during the training in both work and life. Everyone agreed that the company’s new-employee onboarding training was comprehensive, systematic, and rich in content, enhancing their understanding from various perspectives—company, department, and individual roles—and greatly helping them gain a thorough and profound understanding of Newcell, ignite their intrinsic motivation, and build a unified, upward-moving force. At the same time, the trainees also put forward some valuable opinions and suggestions regarding the company’s new-employee onboarding training, such as diversifying training formats and promoting interaction and communication.
