Yiyang Newcell welcomes domestic and international customer delegations to discuss new opportunities for cooperation in the energy storage industry.

Recently, Newcell welcomed a special group of guests—representatives from numerous domestic and international partner and client companies—who gathered in Yiyang to conduct an on-site visit and inspection of the company, and engaged in extensive discussions on technological innovation and industrial collaboration in the energy storage sector.
Newcell was established in September 2020 and is located in Yiyang City, Hunan Province. It is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to providing green energy solutions in the field of energy storage, focusing on the research, development, production, and sales of lithium-ion batteries and battery systems. Its products are widely used in emerging sectors such as grid-scale energy storage, commercial and industrial energy storage, residential energy storage, and backup power for base stations. As one of the ten key investment projects in Yiyang City, the company’s project covers approximately 200 mu of land, with a total investment of RMB 2.2 billion, and aims to build a lithium-ion battery production base with an annual capacity of 14 GWh.
The delegation visiting this time includes representatives from numerous enterprises across the upstream and downstream segments of the industry chain. Among the guests are Mr. Cai Meifu, representative of Saudi Attab Al-Khalijia Construction Group; Mr. Cai Dang, Chairman of Saudi Bright World Trading Co., Ltd.; Ms. Xie Chencheng, Secretary-General of Saudi Bright World Trading Co., Ltd.; Ms. Liu Chang, General Manager of Liuyi New Materials Technology Co., Ltd.; as well as other corporate representatives from both China and abroad in the fields of new energy and new materials.
Meanwhile, Lin Yong, Vice President of Operations at Kolyuan USA, along with Business Director Liu Yanbin, Yiyang Kolyuan’s Commercial Director Zhong Fajun, R&D Manager Mr. He Xingjun, and other company representatives, also paid a visit.

During the visit, the delegation toured the company’s production workshops and gained an in-depth understanding of Newcell’s technologies and intelligent manufacturing processes in lithium-ion battery cell fabrication and battery system integration. The two sides engaged in thorough discussions on the technological roadmap for energy storage batteries, product application scenarios, and future cooperation directions. Focusing on the field of energy storage lithium batteries, Newcell has demonstrated outstanding performance with its high‑consistency lithium iron phosphate cells. The recent concentrated visits by domestic and international clients underscore the industry’s strong recognition of the company’s technical expertise and product quality.
A relevant official from Newcell stated that the company will continue to deepen its expertise in the energy storage sector and, with an open mindset, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry chain. Looking ahead, Newcell looks forward to joining hands with more partners to jointly promote the high-quality development of the energy storage industry and contribute to the green energy transition.
